In the year 2015, the planet Sierra is gripped by fear. The evil terrorist organisation Scarlet, formed by a group of artificial beings created using genetic engineering, is plotting to destroy the human race! As Epsilon-Eagle, a powerful birdman, you must shoot through 24 gripping and hectic levels and hunt down Xi-Tiger, the vicious leader of Scarlet. The main focus of this game is its many bosses, which are often huge, intimidating and deviously challenging!

1. Alien Soldier was originally only released in Japan and Europe, and the game cartridge is somewhat rare in both regions.
2. This is another classic game from Treasure, the renowned developer behind such titles as Gunstar Heroes, Ikaruga, Dynamite Headdy and Bangai-O.
3. Remember Melon Bread, the seemingly useless boss from the dice palace in Gunstar Heroes? Well, he shows up again in stage 19 of Alien Soldier. I think he might have been working out since he fought the Gunstar twins though, as he is a bit tougher this time around!
