The dedicated guardian of Angel Island, Knuckles the Echidna, has punched his way into Sonic the Hedgehog 2! He is obviously eager to prove that he has the advantage over his rival Sonic, too. Using his unique echidna skills, such as his climbing and gliding abilities, it is possible to go where no blue hedgehog has ever gone before! Find new power ups and explore new routes through your favourite Zones... it is a whole new way to play Sonic the Hedgehog 2!
Key Features
- It was originally only possible to play this game by combining the Sonic the Hedgehog 2 cartridge with Sonic & Knuckles using its lock-on feature.
- The Ring quotas during the Special Stages are actually lower for Knuckles than they are in the original Sonic the Hedgehog 2. This means that it is easier to obtain the seven Chaos Emeralds as Knuckles.
