One day, the peaceful town of Excalabria was attacked by an army from Cartahena led by the evil King Tsarkon. His forces overwhelmed by the attack, the King of Excalabria, Erik V, summoned his trusted servant Blade and ordered him to take his infant son to safety and raise him as his own. Eighteen years later in the small village of Wyclif, Blade is dying. With his last breath, he confesses to the son that King Erik was his real father and therefore it is his destiny to save the world from the vicious army of Cartahena. As the son of King Erik V, you will journey to find the powerful Sword of Vermilion and put a stop to the advances of the brutal army of Cartahena.
