Dr. Robotnik is back, and you can bet that Sonic is not far behind. This time, the bad doctor has created the ultimate weapon - the dreaded Death Egg. Sonic is not in this fight alone, however. He now has a pint-sized sidekick named Tails, the two-tailed fox with the ability to hover for a brief amount of time. He has also got a new move, the lightning fast Spin Dash, which allows him to blast through the mechanized Badnik hordes. The 3D Special Stages bring a whole new perspective to the Sonic SEGA Mega Drive/Genesis adventures, and the split-screen two-player mode allows you and a friend to see who is the fastest.
