Joe Musashi thought that he had defeated the criminal organization Neo Zeed for good during the events of the SEGA Genesis game, The Revenge of Shinobi. Two years later, however, Neo Zeed has returned under the leadership of a mysterious man known as the Shadow Master. It is time for the ninja master to return once more and defeat his old foes. Joe has learned a few new moves to help even the odds. A powerful jump kick, a running sword slash and the ability to wall jump round off his collection of shurikens and Ninjitsu magic.
